Anne of Green Gables

My favourite book is “Anne of Green Gables”. Author: L.M. Montgomery.

This book is about an orphan- Anne Shirley.
Matthew Cuthbert and his sister, Marilla, live in Avonlea on Canada’s Prince Edward Island. Needing help on their farm, Green Gables, they apply to adopt a boy from an orphanage. By mistake, however, a red-haired, freckle-faced 11-year-old girl named Anne Shirley is sent to the siblings. While Matthew instantly takes to Anne, Marilla is unsure about keeping her. However, the cheerful and highly imaginative Anne gradually transforms the joyless lives of shy Matthew and prim Marilla, and they come to view her as a daughter.
However, not everything about Avonlea is
idyllic, and the quick-tempered Anne has two nemeses: the hypercritical Mrs. Rachel Lynde, who she eventually wins over, and Gilbert Blythe, a classmate who insults Anne by calling her “carrots”—she is sensitive about her looks, especially her red hair—and sets off a long-simmering feud; the two become friends by the end of the book and marry in a later sequel. Impulsive and sometimes mischievous, Anne has many misadventures, such as accidentally dyeing her hair green. However, she matures in the course of the book, and, when Matthew dies, Anne foregoes college to care for Marilla, who is going blind. Showing no bitterness, Anne instead cheerfully welcomes her new situation, believing that it will hold great happiness.

My favourite book- a book review

The story begins when Jotaro Kujo is supossed to get out of the prison but he doesn't want to because "I'm being haunted by a ghost that brings everyting to me." His grandfather, Joseph Joestar explains to him what the ghost is "That ghost is not what you think it is, it's a stand, the manifestation of your soul." Jotaro agrees to leave the prison and then the Bizzare Adventure begins. Their first enemy is Noriaki Kakyoin, possesing the Hierophant Green, later on we're getting information that he was controlled by another stand that made him do anything what Dio Brando (The Main Antagonist) said. Jotaro's mother (Holy Kujo) gets sick due to her own stand and the only way to cancel it is to defeat DIO Brando that owns the stand called The World. (Zawarudo in original version) Later on we get to know that The World has ability to move in stopped time for nine seconds, which DIO later on uses. We're getting alot of villains that Jotaro and his team has to fight off, one which joins them. His name is Jean Pierre Polnaref, who owns Silver Chariot. In the fight with DIO we get the information that "Star Platinum and The World are the same stands." (Star Platinum is Jotaro's stand) Which Jotaro uses, being able to move in DIO's stopped time and in his own. Iggy, is a dog owning "The Fool" which later on kills him like Holy Kujo had a chance of. In the fight with DIO Kakyoin gets killed while trying to attack DIO. Jotaro manages to kill him after but DIO sucks the blood out of Joseph and gets back with better form, later on the blood from DIO gets transfused into Joseph's body with help of Jotaro's heart moving technique using his Star Platinum. I think, that this manga is great, it has LOTS of funny and sad moments, which makes it a great story that you should read! I give it 10/10, there is also an animated version of it that's very accurate but that's all for now and it's just one of the around six, seven parts. This one was called Stardust Crusaders, well that's it for now, goodbye.

My favorite book
The Hobbit, There and Back Again

The Hobbit Bilbo unexpectedly sets out on a journey of treasure as a burglar. He is accompanied by thirteen dwarves and (for some time) the wizard Gandalf. The treasure is inside the Lonely Mountain, where he was guarded by Smaug - a dragon. During the journey Bilbo meets elves, a mysterious man - a bear, Beorn, Chief of Eagles, the heroic Bard - the protector of the city of Esgaroth against Smaug. In the end, he participates in the Battle of the Five Armies, and above all he finds the enchanted Ring, owned by the creature Gollum inhabiting the deepest caves of the Misty Mountains. The treasure is found and the hobbit changes into an experienced being who values friendship and knows how to make wise and responsible decisions.
